Introducing Moni

Moni the Monkey - the Main Character of this book

Now available (for orders since 1/7/2012 as an eBook only) on Smashwords.com

(soon also available on Amazon, Apple iBookstore, Sony, etc)

Synopsis:

Moni, a young abandoned Vervet monkey, is adopted by Nana, who believes her own baby was taken by humans. However Moni feels that members of her new troop discriminate against her mainly because of her unusual white colouring. In retaliation Moni attempts to befriend animals of different species.

In the company of Impi the Impala or Suni, a Ground squirrel, Moni experiences various adventures and learns much about the surrounding flora and fauna. Eventually Moni also shares some amusing moments with her new monkey friend, Nunu.

As she slowly learns to adapt to a new lifestyle, Moni is often disturbed by confusingly vague images belonging to her past – until one day everything falls into place.

The many photographs accompanying the text serve to vividly enhance this story set in the African bush.
